The idea for Local Celebrity dates back to 2003 when a couple of friends found inspiration to ditch their jobs and start their own clothing firm at Cornerstone music festival. After following through with the plan, it wasn’t long until “Grandma’s ranch” lacked capacity to meet the high demands, so L.C. moved to Skid Row, a glamorous part of downtown Los Angeles. Local Celebrity is family owned by people that love what they are doing. This is reflected by their meticulous work producing unique designs combined with quality garments made 100% from scratch in LA. Today, L.C. shirts are being sold in some of the finest retail stores all over the world and successful like few other labels.
